Precision Machining Meets Clean Delivery: Efficient Completion of Semiconductor Vacuum Chamber Structural Components
In semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum chamber and related structural components demand extremely high standards for both precision and cleanliness. Parts must not only meet strict dimensional and flatness tolerances, but also arrive with a clean surface condition to prevent particle contamination that could affect equipment performance and process stability.
Recently, ProMfg Hub completed a high-precision aluminum alloy structural component project for semiconductor equipment. The project covered precision CNC machining, necessary surface treatment, and subsequent clean cleaning and packaging, forming a complete closed loop from precision manufacturing to clean delivery.
### Key Execution Points
- Precision Machining Stage: High-accuracy machining processes were applied to ensure critical mating surfaces and sealing faces met the required dimensional accuracy and flatness. Full inspection was performed using CMM and other measurement tools.
- Clean Processing Stage: After machining, the parts entered a clean cleaning process to control surface particles and residues. They were finally delivered in clean packaging, reducing the risk of secondary contamination on the customer’s production line.
- Process Coordination: Machining and clean processing were coordinated by a unified team, minimizing quality and lead-time uncertainties caused by multiple supplier handovers.
By combining precision CNC capability with clean processing capability, the project not only guaranteed accuracy but also significantly improved the cleanliness of the delivered parts, helping the customer shorten the preparation cycle from receipt to production use.
